Wavy hair & rollerblades.

29.1.11

Today is Saturday therefore I'm happy as larry. My day today has so far involved eating a big breakfast omelette and drinking 700 cups of tea, doing level two of the 30 Day Shred, and blogging. My afternoon will involve going to Meadowhall, going curling (!), a drink or two, then snuggles with the boyfriend and maybe a film.

In other news, my hair is getting so long! I'm wearing it wavy quite a lot as it is in desperate need of a trim, and I find making it look 'messy on purpose' hides those pesky split ends. I'm on the look out for a reasonably priced, super moisturising, conditioning treatment so if you can think of anything please do let me know in the comments box!

I've had my eyebrows threaded since this picture so I look slightly more human now!

I'm hopefully getting a smoothie maker/blender type contraption soon and I'm definitely going to make Green Monsters and other yummy smoothies to take to work for my breakfast. They attract strange looks but they taste so damn yummy!

What are you up to today?

  1. I'm rather fond of the umberto giannini indulgent beauty moisture mask so that might be worth a look? :) I've been doing my hair like this loads too recently as it's way overdue a trim! x

  3. Give Olive Oil a try..... Sounds gross but really works on my long and rather tatty looking ends. Pour a bit on your hand and rub it through the ends and whack your hair up for 20 minutes or so, then give it a really thorough shampoo out. Hello silky smooth hair!!

Failing that I love the Aussie deep treatment conditioners - I can't remember the name of the ones I tend to go for... something like lusciously long!!!

    Hope that helps. Happy Saturday.

  23. Your hair looks absolutely gorgeous like that! As for hair conditioning treatments: LEE STAFFORD LEE STAFFORD LEE STAFFORD!! Sorry to shout but I think his poker straight intensive conditioner is amazing - before I had ceramic hair straighteners and used metal ones far too much, my hair was like straw, had gone blonde at the ends (I'm very dark brown) and it smelt like dead people. It was horrendous. This sorted it out a treat! I go on about it ALL the time, you really should check it out :) Have a lovely weekend xxx

  27. i am getting to be totally obsessed about smoothies recently, making one every day to take to work for the last few weeks - they are great!

  28. aussie 3 minutes miracle is great! i use the one for long hair. i wish my hair was wavy naturally, instead it's just kinky and unruly!

  29. your hair is beautiful! I feel the same, I always wear my hair wavy lately because I can get away without washing it longer and it disguises the fact that I'm in desperate need of a trim!

You are such a gorgeous girl! I'm looking forward to your 'diet' or 'weight loss' post cause you look fabulous (although you've always looked great imo). I can really see it in your face.
